Event description

This event is fun, free and informal. No agenda, come and enjoy this activity with friends and colleagues. Print on 2 full size presses with all non-toxic materials using plexiglass, gum arabic, watercolors, pencils, and ink. All supplies are provided.

About the organizer

Leyla Rzayeva, Baltimore based contemporary artist and '09 Tamarind Institute Professional Printer. Azerbaijani and Russian American artist, Rzayeva has shown her work in Rehoboth, DE, Washington D.C. and Baltimore, including George Mason University and inaugural 2016 Contemporary Museum Artist Retreat. She received BFA in Painting from Maryland Institute College of Art in 2008, and holds a Professional Printer Certificate from Tamarind Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a pioneer workshop dedicated to reviving the art of lithography and printmaking in United States. In 2015 Rzayeva founded Clubhouse Lithography Workshop, offering artists tools and space to create original prints.
