This project imagines the threads that connect us. In this ongoing series, I recreate an
item of clothing as a stylized tapestry. A long piece of pink fabric is stretched on the wall with its ends slightly lifted; at the center is a metal loop wrapped in silk dividing the fabric in two sections. Painted on the left side are pieces of broken pottery in red, white, brown and blue colors. Participants are invited to share a photograph or an object that represents an aspect of deep memory or emotion.
